The questions worth asking before installing anything into your accounting software.
- Will the add-ons break my Apskaita5?
- The installer extends your existing Apskaita5 installation and saves copies of the original files before replacing them. Database changes are additive only: tables or columns an add-on needs are added, while existing data is neither modified nor deleted. As before any software update, we recommend having a backup of your data.
- Can I uninstall the add-ons?
- Yes. In the Apskaita5 “Papildiniai” menu choose “Išdiegti” — the original files saved during the first install are restored and the licence is removed. If the restore cannot be completed, the installer says so and keeps the backups rather than reporting a false success, so you can try again.
- What happens to my licence if you disappear?
- The licence is a signed file on your own computer and stays valid offline until the date written in it — our server is not needed for that. You can uninstall the add-ons at any time and get the original Apskaita5 back; it is independent free software that works without us. Free add-ons need no licence at all.
- Is this an official Apskaita5 product?
- No. Apskaita5 is third-party software. MB „Integra vizija“ is an independent developer, not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the authors of Apskaita5. We do not sell or maintain Apskaita5 itself — we only build add-ons for it, so you must hold a lawful copy of Apskaita5.
- Do I need a card to try it?
- No. When you create an account, your first month of “Invoice Scanner” and “Smart bank statement import” is free — no card, and nothing is charged automatically. After that month those add-ons simply become paid, and the free ones keep working.
- Is the price per company?
- Most add-ons are priced per licensed company code (I_Kodas). If you keep the books for several clients, an accountant pack gives the full packet at a flat price for several codes. The exact figures are on the Pricing page.
- How are the add-ons updated?
- We improve the add-ons continuously: the Apskaita5 “Papildiniai” menu shows whether a newer version exists, and “Atnaujinti” downloads only the changed files — your licence and data stay where they are. This way your system always receives the latest improvements. The installer is signed with our certificate, so you can see the publisher before running it.
- I use Apskaita5 through a cloud service. Can I install the add-ons?
- The add-ons only work fully when your data is hosted with us as well. If you work through a remote cloud server, we recommend moving your data to “☁ Integravizija cloud hosting” — then everything works properly. If your data stays on another server, the add-ons will not work properly: some modules not at all, others only partially, and that can cause additional problems. Such an installation is clearly not recommended, and we take no responsibility for the add-ons working or not while your data is hosted elsewhere. Cloud documentation
